BALDWIN, La. – The LSU AgCenter Healthy St. Mary Coalition and Town of Baldwin are hosting a community walk-a-long on Friday, September 22 from 9:30 am to 11:30 am. The group invites residents to join and give feedback on proposed improvements to pedestrian infrastructure in Baldwin.
The walk will start at Baldwin Town Hall. Participants will help evaluate whether the current walking conditions are safe, inviting and ADA accessible.
“Community input is important for sustainable change, so we are inviting all community members in the hopes of getting well-rounded feedback,” said Jessica Randazzo, LSU AgCenter nutrition agent for St. Mary Parish.
