- USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service and Junior Professional Advancement Community visited ASI and the Sugar Research Station
On September 22, 2022, USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service (FAS) and Junior Professional Advancement Community (JPAC) visited Audubon Sugar Institute and the Sugar Research Station. Two producers, Eddie Lewis and Gertrude Hawkins were also invited.
During the visit, the visitors toured the facilities of both institutions and had the opportunity to engage in an open discussion about various topics surrounding the cane industry.
