Dr. Gillian Eggleston, Director of the Audubon Sugar Institute of LSU AgCenter received the 2021 Charles E. Coates Memorial Award at a Baton Rouge Banquet on 26 April 2022. This award from The American Chemical Society is for outstanding contributions to the profession of Chemistry. Prof. C.E. Coates was a previous Director of the Audubon Sugar Institute from 1897-1937.
