- Shooting Sports Volunteers
Are you interested in taking the next step into the world of Shooting Sports? Below you will find information on instructor training and volunteer positions available within Calcasieu Parish 4-H Shooting Sports! Please remember that ALL volunteers with the shooting sports program must be 21 years of age or older.
The first step in volunteering with Calcasieu 4-H is to enroll as a volunteer. This will allow agents to contact your in the future regarding your volunteer interest. From this point, depending on your volunteer needs, you will be directed to attend an in person instructor training. These trainings take place throughout the year in various locations across the state. Training is required through the 4-H Program regardless of previous training attended with other programs.

Once your have enrolled you will be asked to complete a background screening. This is standard for all of our volunteers in order to assure safety and security among our program participants and their families. Agents will be notified once you have completed the screening and are ready to volunteer!
