Congratulations to Ms. Sharon Moon, daughter of Dr. Young-Hwan Moon and a sophomore at Baton Rouge High, who placed first at the 70th annual Louisiana Science and Engineering Fair (LSEF) held on February 17-19 at the LSU Union. Ms. Moon worked under the supervision of Dr. Giovanna Aita to produce a gluco-oligosaccharide prebiotic using dextransucrase. She will be representing Baton Rouge at the 66th Annual LSEF to be held March 16-18 at LSU.
