Communications Between Farmers & Beekeepers

SW LA Beekeepers Association: Communications Between Farmers & Beekeepers

Monday, March 7th, 7-9 PM, Sheriff’s Training Center, 412 Bolivar Bishop Drive, DeRidder, LA

Pollinator stewardship is an important topic in agriculture. This presentation discusses how farmers and beekeepers can cooperate to maintain both crop production and pollinator health.

Another reason to attend this meeting is to learn more about having bees by asking experienced beekeepers for advice. For more information, please contact Keith Hawkins, County Agent, 337-463-7006. Also, you may also obtain regular “beemail” updates about beekeeping by sending your request by email to khawkins@agcenter.lsu.edu.
