Welcome all members, new and returning, to another exciting year in Pointe Coupee! This year we are going on a fun virtual adventure learning more about “4-H Science Lab” and “Adulting” While we understand this year will look different for the time being, I hope to give you a fun and educational experience in Pointe Coupee 4-H! Our monthly meetings may look different although as always we have updates from the parish, fun, hands-on activities, and I hope to get to see your smiling faces soon!
Be on the lookout this year for a variety of new activities, project clubs, and workshops. This year we will have a pet parade, poster contest, club in a bag, and virtual variations of our typical 4-H activities. We will continue to offer our traditional programming such as livestock activities, shooting sports program, workshops, and camps. We ask for your patience and grace as we navigate this upcoming year. The best is yet to come!
Louisiana 4-H members competed for best in the state in more than 20 events ranging from meat identification, photography, and automotive to public speaking and fashion design. While COVID-19 did not allow youth to travel to LSU campus this summer it did not take away from the hours of practice youth dedicated. Congratulations to the following Pointe Coupee 4-H members for placing in 4-H University
