(03/22/23) BATON ROUGE, La. — The East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners will present a talk on irrigation and drainage March 30 at the Greenwell Springs Regional Branch Library at 11300 Greenwell Springs Road.
The talk, scheduled for 6:30 p.m., are free and open to the public, but seating is limited.
Stacia L. Davis Conger, who is an assistant professor of irrigation engineering at the LSU AgCenter, and also serves as the state extension irrigation specialist, will provide an overview of landscape irrigation systems with a deeper look at considerations for planning microirrigation.
Conger also will introduce smart irrigation technologies by summarizing their function and providing practical consideration for product selection.
