(03/08/23) BATON ROUGE, La. — The East Baton Rouge Master Gardeners will present talks on native plants, basil and other year-round culinary herbs on Thursday, March 16, at the Jones Creek Regional Branch Library located at 9222 Jones Creek Road.
The talks, scheduled for 6:30 p.m., are free and open to the public, but seating is limited.
Louisiana Master Gardener Gaynelle Wolff will discuss why native plants love Louisiana. She said they like the heat, the water and the rare freezes.
Following Wolff, Nancy Jurasinski’s presentation, “Beyond Basil: Year Round Culinary Herbs,” will help you enrich your gardens and your menus.
