- Camellia show, sale set for Feb. 11-12
(01/19/23) BATON ROUGE, La. — The Baton Rouge Camellia Society will feature more than 100 camellia selections at its show and sale on Feb. 11-12 at the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden.
The Saturday event is from 1 to 4 p.m., and on Sunday the hours are 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
There is no admission to the show and sale, and the public is invited.
This is an opportunity to brighten up your garden with camellias that have been meticulously propagated from the expansive camellia collections at the Botanic Gardens.
The Camellia Society will also offer planting and management advice, a grafting demonstration and a waxing demonstration.
The LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden is located at 4560 Essen Lane, Baton Rouge.
