Herb Day scheduled for Feb. 25 at Burden

(01/18/23) BATON ROUGE, La. — The American Herb Society, Baton Rouge Unit will sponsor Herb Day from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Feb. 25.

Herb Day will offer thousands of healthy herbs and All-American Selections vegetable plants during the event.

Local vendors and food trucks will be selling their wares and fare throughout the day.

Herb Day also will include educational sessions on native medicinal plants, herbal container gardens and a historical and social overview of herbs.

There is no admission to attend Herb Day and the public is invited.

Herb Day will be held at the LSU AgCenter Botanic Gardens at Burden, located at 4560 Essen Lane in Baton Rouge.
