- Spring garden forum set for Feb. 17 in DeRidder
(02/01/17) BATON ROUGE, La. – The LSU AgCenter and Louisiana Master Gardeners will present a spring garden forum from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 17 in DeRidder.
“This annual event will provide workshops covering a variety of topics for those with gardening interest,” AgCenter agent Keith Hawkins said.
Topics will include:
– Container gardening
– Hay bale gardening
– Growing vegetables for health
– Caring for fruit trees
– Growing tomatoes
– Hazard tree awareness
– Beneficial insects
The forum will be held at the War Memorial Civic Center at 250 West 7th Street. Admission is free.
