Feliciana Master Gardener Class
The Louisiana Master Gardener Program is a volunteer development program offered by the LSU AgCenter. Master Gardener volunteers are highly trained and provide proven, research-based educational programs to Louisiana residents.
Participants in the Master Gardner class receive 40+ hours of horticulture training in topics such as: botany, plant propagation, entomology, plant pathology, weed science, soils, pesticide safety, lawn care, vegetables, fruits, herbaceous plants & more!
Upon successful completion of the training and volunteering for 40 hours, participants will become Certified Louisiana Master Gardeners.
When: The 2019 class is closed for applications. The next anticipated class will be during fall, 2021. You may turn in an application at any time and it will be kept on file for the next class. To hold a class I must have 10 students. If at least 10 students apply sooner, we may have a class sooner than 2021.
Course Fee: $185 (includes manual, publications, coffee, and snacks)
