Welcome to Jefferson Parish 4-H

The urban 4-H program of Jefferson Parish offers programming for youth in 4-12th grades to build STEM (Science, Engineering, Technology, and Math), Healthy Living, and Leadership /Citizenship skills.

Through non-formal, research-based, experiential educational activities, 4-H participants gain knowledge and life skills that enable them to become positive, productive, capable, and compassionate members of their communities.

We offer classroom visits, “4-H Club in a Class”, before/after school 4-H clubs, competitions, service projects, trips and conferences!

This year, we are offering "Nutrition form the Garden", a six session, nutrition education program for youth in grades 4th-6th.
