4-H will be at the City Park Fall Garden Show on October 8th and 9th! We will have our own tent filled with lots of fun activities. You can also buy plants from local vendors at the Fall Garden Show. Fall is a great time to start planting many different types of winter crops in your garden. It’s best to plant most seeds now so that they begin sprouting in the spring. The City Park Fall Garden show will be in the Botanical Gardens located in City Park in New Orleans. Come join us for a great time! For more info, go here: https://bit.ly/3dWcskw.

Pecan Fundraiser

Pecan Fundraiserjpg

This month, we are selling pecans to raise funds for the Jefferson Parish 4-H foundation. These high quality pecans come from the Pointe Coupee Pecan company right here in Louisiana. This family-run business has been providing pecans for decades and they have earned an excellent reputation for their products. These pecans will come in before Thanksgiving so they are perfect for your pecan pies. The chocolate covered pecans and the sugared pecans are a good gift for the holiday season. Please consider purchasing some pecans. For more information on how to order please visit https://bit.ly/3B7cZsA or call our office at 504-736-6519.
