Our annual Bicycle Rodeo is a great opportunity for youth to learn proper bicycle safety in a fun and enriching way! Participants will also get to make healthy smoothies on our Blender Bike! Keep reading to learn how to register.

Jefferson Parish 4-H is proud to partner with Bike Easy for a fun and educational event for your child. This is a great opportunity for your 4th – 12th grader to learn bicycle safety and maintenance. Afterwards, they will given a guided tour of the LSU AgCenter Demonstration Garden at LaSalle park and make fruit smoothies with our Blender Bike. We hope to see you and your family there! Location: LaSalle Park; 6600 Airline Dr., Metairie

Time: 10 AM - 1 PM

Cost: $5

  • Registration forms are required by the deadline so we may have enough materials for all youth to participate. Deadline is Friday, February 11.
  • Parents must stay on site with children unless they are a registered 4-H Junior Leader.
  • Masks and social distancing may be required.
  • Wear clothing that can get dirty and close-toed shoes.
  • Bring water in a reusable water bottle and a picnic lunch.
  • The event is fair-weather only. If the event is canceled due to weather, you will receive a message from the 4-H Agent.

    **For overnight events and camps, please notify the 4-H Office at least 2 weeks in advance.
