Free Entry

Rules:

1. One entry per person.
2. Pumpkin display must not exceed 25 lbs. No artificial pumpkins will be accepted.
3. Participants can draw or paint on the pumpkin. You may also use objects, materials, and/or paper to decorate your pumpkin. Materials may be glued or pinned to the pumpkin.
4. Pumpkins must be appropriate and child friendly. We reserve the right to reject any entries.
5. Do not write or display your name on your entry, all entries will receive an identification number.

To Enter:

1. Drop off pumpkin between 8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m. at River Region Master Gardener Booth at Saturday German Coast Farmer’s Market located at:
   • St. Charles Parish East Regional Library
   • 160 West Campus Drive
   • Destrehan, LA 70047
2. Judging begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 11:30 a.m.
3. Please pick up your pumpkin between 11:30 a.m. and 12:00 p.m. Otherwise, your pumpkin will be donated to Ormond Nursing & Care Center.

To Win:

• Farmer’s Market patrons will be invited to vote for their favorite pumpkin in each division (K-3rd grade, 4th-7th grade, 8th-12th grade, over 18) between 9:00 am - 11:30am.
• Prizes will be awarded to the top three most voted for pumpkins in each division. Winners will be notified following the contest.
