- Louisiana 4-H Fashion Camp
This is one of the many 4-H camping opportunities offered through the Louisiana 4-H program. 4-H members (ages 10-13) are invited to apply to be selected to attend the annual State 4-H Fashion Camp, which is usually held during the month of January. Members enjoy learning to sew various take-home projects while meeting new 4-H friends and gaining new sewing skills at Camp Grant Walker!
Each parish is allowed to send 2 youth to this camping opportunity. However, in the event of additional space available, alternates may also be selected to attend. Therefore, please submit your application as soon as possible.
4-H Fashion Camp Details:
When: Saturday, January 26, 2019 – Sunday, January 27, 2019 (There is a possibility that the youth selected may leave on the Friday to stay an additional night.)
Where: Grant Walker Educational Center in Pollock, La.
Basic Cost: $80.00
(Youth may have additional costs in meals while in travel and supplies needed. See application for more details on cost. There is also an option to discuss financial need on the application.)
Application Deadline – November 16, 2018: Please submit your application and necessary forms along with your deposit to the St. Charles Parish 4-H Office as stated on the application. The following will be due by the specified deadline:
