The St. Charles Parish 4-H Shooting Sports Program was established to assist youth in acquiring knowledge, developing life skills, and forming attitudes so that they may become self-directing, productive, and contributing members of society through a disciplined 4-H youth development program. The program is designed to do the following:

Members of the St. Charles Parish 4-H Shooting Sports Club have the opportunity to participate in various trainings, practices, and competitions. Members are trained by 4-H volunteers who have been certified as 4-H Shooting Sports Instructors. 4-H Shooting Sports Instructors educate members on firearm safety and sportsmanship.
Youth (10 years old by January 1 through 12th grade) either residing or attending school in St. Charles Parish are invited to become members of the St. Charles Parish 4-H Shooting Sports Program. In addition to attending regular practices, members are invited to participate in 4-H Shooting Sports competitions.
The registration deadline for the 2025-2026 school year is: November 19, 2025
To become a member of the St. Charles Parish 4-H Shooting Sports program, the following must be submitted to the St. Charles Parish LSU AgCenter Office by the registration deadline:
