Beef and Dairy Poster Winner

Bienville Parish 4-H has 2 State Poster Winners

Each year 4-H conducts a Beef and Dairy poster contest in each parish throughout the state. The Beef poster is to help students learn more about beef products and their importance to human health. The Dairy poster contest promotes milk and milk products and their importance to healthy bodies. These poster contests help students to demonstrate communication silks by drawing a billboard encouraging healthy habits. First Place posters are submitted to Baton Rouge for state competition.

Johnathan Warren received Honorable Mention in the Louisiana 4-H Draw-A-Dairy Billboard Contest. Courtlyn Cook, Reagan Williams and Vikki Blewer received a Blue Ribbon in the Louisiana Beef Poster Contest.

Please help me in congratulating these youth in their outstanding accomplishment. If you have any questions about 4-H or this event, please call Elizabeth Bryan, Extension Agent at the LSU AgCenter in Bienville Parish, 318-263-7400.
