Learning about group dynamics is important to team success. Problem solving, critical thinking, and conflict resolution are only a few of a variety of life skills learned in group dynamics. Working together in a group to solve a problem also develops decision making and consensus building.
We will learn about and practice teamwork skills at this month’s 4-H club meetings. A fun activity will get members interacting and participating as a true team.
4-H enrollment has changed this year to 4-H Online. It’s easy to enroll online by creating your own family profile and adding family members as 4-Hers or volunteers. Click the button How to Enroll in 4-H Online for Cameron Parish for step-by-step instructions on how to enroll.
All 4-Hers belonging to their school club must pay their school $10 club dues to join. All of our camp and event registration will take place in this system. If you’re having trouble accessing the website or completing an enrollment, we have a desktop computer in our office available.
Junior Leaders will have their next meeting on November 7 at 6 PM at the 4-H Office. At this meeting, Junior Leaders will learn about leadership opportunities available on the Louisiana 4-H Executive Board.
The dues are $20 and include a T-shirt. T-shirts will be ordered after all enrollment is collected. Please enroll and pay by the November meeting if interested in joining. Members must enroll in Junior Leaders each year, even if they joined last year.
Before every practice there will be a safety presentation that you have to attend to be able to shoot at practice. If you get to practice late and miss the presentation, you will not be allowed to shoot.
