4-H Club Meeting Lesson:

Cooperative Communication

Communication is listed as one of the skills necessary for success in the 21st Century Workplace. Additionally, it is an important life skill that will benefit children and teens as they grow into competent, caring adults.

Many people think of communication as just speaking; however it works best when it is a two-way street. Listening and asking questions are also important in the communication process.

At our club meetings this month, we will practice sending and receiving messages and learn the importance of cooperative communication.

4-H Online Enrollment

4-H enrollment has changed this year to 4-H Online. It’s easy to enroll online by creating your own family profile and adding family members as 4-Hers or volunteers. Click the button How to Enroll in 4-H Online for Cameron Parish for step-by-step instructions on how to enroll.

Dues are $20 and include a t-shirt. T-shirts will be ordered after all enrollment is collected. Please enroll and pay by the November meeting if interested in joining. Members must enroll in Junior Leaders each year, even if they joined last year.
