Miles Brashier

Miles Brashier.As a parish agent in Point Coupee Parish for over 35 years for the AgCenter Mr. Brashier was involved in all aspects of the 4-H program. He was instrumental in bringing the School Garden curriculum to life, and in training numerous competitors for 4-H U competitions. He served as a mentor and leader to many across the state and in Pointe Coupee Parish. During his years with the LSU AgCenter, Miles worked tirelessly and gave of himself selflessly for countless projects in the community. His recognitions and successes include three time Nolan Reech Award Winner, Distinguished Service Award, LA Crop Consultant Award, and Extension Excellence Award. Coaching youth in the areas of Horticulture Judging, Horticulture Use Demonstration, Soybean Illustrated Talk, Compact Tractor, and Entomology Demo’s secured the life skill of public speaking, hard work, and accountability in youth all across Pointe Coupee Parish and 250 blue ribbons!
