Ms Parks has been involved in the Lafourche Parish 4-H program since the 4th grade. As an adult volunteer she assists in program development, funding, project work, and in club leadership. She is involved in the poultry project and is currently serving on the parish 4-H foundation. Serving as Poultry Judging Team Coach, she has led several state-winning teams to Nationals in Louisville, Kentucky. Her contributions have been recognized by the Barataria-Terrebonne National Estuary Program, St. Mary's Nativity Church, Lafourche Roping Club, and The Krewe of Aquarius.
