Mr. Bellow has been an active volunteer for over 15 years He was instrumental in building the Ascension 4-H Shooting sports program which averages 150 members. He serves as the Shooting Sports Coordinator and coaches disciplines Shotgun and Archery.Mr. Bellow has received the Todd Roberts Achievement Award from the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fishing forhis significant and outstanding contribution to the Louisiana Hunter’s Safety Program for 20 years. He was also recognized as Volunteer of theYear from Volunteer Ascension for his dedication to Education/Youth Services. The list of awards he has received for his dedication to 4-H Youth and the Shooting Sports program also include Volunteer Conservationist ofthe Year award from Louisiana Wildlife Federation and National Wildlife Federation for the wiseuse and management of Louisiana natural resources, The Outstanding Leadership Award with the East Ascension Sportsman’s League and more.
