Deidra Rideau

Ms. Deidra Rideau has served as 4-H Organizational Club leader for 30 years, first at Arnaudville Elementary, and then at Beau Chene High School. During her service, she has touched the lives of many youth and has encouraged and provided opportunities for 4-Hers to participate in parish and state-wide events. Mrs. Rideau has also served as a Junior Leadership Club volunteer, mentor to new club leaders, has presented educational programs at many levels, judged numerous contests, and has been an Advisory Board member. Mrs. Rideau’s enthusiasm and skills motivate her club members to achieve and gain life skills, as well as exemplifies that she is truly invested in them and supports their endeavors. Mrs. Rideau recognizes her club members and officers each month with awards and highlights their dedication to the club and the 4-H program. She relies heavily on her officers and has them ready to conduct meetings in an orderly manner. She is described as an outstanding role model for 4-H youth and “truly bleeds green and white.” She is a constant supporter and advocate of 4-H with the local school board and within the community and we are so thankful for her service. Thank you Ms. Rideau!
