Work Location: Plant Pathology and Crop Physiology Department, LSU AgCenter, Baton Rouge, LA
Position Description: Provide support for all aspects of laboratory, greenhouse, and field research related to pathogens and diseases affecting sugarcane. Incumbent should be willing and able to perform physical work outdoors.
Qualification Requirements: The position requires a B.S. or M.S. in plant science, agriculture, or a related field from an accredited college or university. Knowledge of research techniques related to plant pathology is highly desirable. Knowledge of statistics and computer skills also are desirable.
Salary and Benefits: Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The LSU AgCenter has an attractive benefits package with a wide variety of benefit options.
