Coordinator of the medicinal plant certification program at Louisiana State University Curricula development - developing two new courses:

  • Louisiana Medicinal Plants HORT 2080 - focused on the native medicinal plants of Louisiana and nonnative selections.
  • Management of Pests in Urban and Peri-Urban Environments ENTM 3020 - A cross disciplinary introductory course in the basic principles of integrated pest management as they relate to insect pests and diseases present in urban environments.

Over two decades of experience in botanical research and environmental sciences studies.

Specializing in the propagation and use of native (primarily medicinal) plants in the landscape and the value-added benefits these plants provide to human health and the environment.

A PhD student with a research focus on the extraction of natural plant products as antifungals for use in the Cannabis industry.

Her botanical work focuses on native medicinal plants of Louisiana which extends to the Southeastern region of the U.S.
