Ezgi Özcan is an Assistant Professor at the School of Nutrition and Food Sciences, LSU AgCenter who specializes in gut microbiome and nutritional microbiology. Her lab MinD-Gut studies the interactions between diet and gut microbes in neurological health and disease. They explore mechanisms on microbiota-gut-brain axis and develop novel microbiota targeted therapeutic strategies to impact health and disease.
