Teaching Experience: Nematology annually and Introductory Plant Pathology Semi-annually. Over the years, Ed McGawley has also taught Integrated Pest Management, and Honors Biology at LSU. He also guest lectures in Invertebrate Zoology at LSU and Southeastern Louisiana University and in Plant Disease Management and Control at LSU.
Committee Assignments (University, Experiment Station and Departmental): Over the years, Ed McGawley has been a judge in the Louisiana and International Science and Engineering Fairs and at the Science and Humanities Symposium. He has served as a member of the LSU Faculty Policy Committee, the Student Recruitment Committee, and the Dissertation Evaluation Committee and has served as a member of search committees for faculty members and several department heads. Within the Department of Plant Pathology & Crop Physiology, Ed McGawley has been a member or chair of the Promotion and Tenure committee, the Admissions and Standards committee, the Seminar Committee and the Facilities and Services committee.
