Welcome to the 2020 Virtual Rice Field Day. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure the health and safety of both LSU AgCenter personnel and our Rice Industry stakeholders, we decided to transition this year’s field day to a virtual field day. By doing so, we were able to provide you with additional information and visuals that we would normally not be able to provide in a typical field day setting. In addition to videos of our individual tour stops, we also have a virtual poster session, which provides information on a variety of research and industry related programs. There are also links to two surveys that we welcome and encourage your participation. The information from these surveys will assist the Louisiana Rice Research Board and LSU AgCenter scientists to focus research efforts on issues identified as most critical to the Louisiana Rice Industry. Finally, we would like to express our sincere appreciation to our sponsors for their support in making this virtual field day possible. We hope that you enjoy this version of our field day and find the information beneficial to you and your operation.
