Pecan Research Station Video

Pecan trees planted nearly a century ago stand majestically on the LSU AgCenter's Pecan Research Station, the only university research facility in the country exclusively devoted to this nut crop. Researchers at the station, which is located near Shreveport, address all areas of commercial pecan production from horticulture, fertilization, tree planting, growth and shape, harvest efficiency and insect and disease control.
