Luna hibiscus is a warm-season deciduous perennial that returns each spring to provide drama to the landscape.
Luna hibiscus belong to a group called hardy hibiscus, Hibiscus moscheutos. These hibiscus are often referred to as dinner plant hibiscus due to the large size of the flowers.
Luna Hibiscus does not disappoint with very large 7-8” blooms in colors of red, rose, white, pink, and pink swirl from late spring thru fall. This plant is a great addition to the butterfly garden.
Use Luna Hibiscus in a mass planting for a dramatic effect in the landscape or grow in a large container for a striking display on the patio.
For best results, plant hibiscus in well-drained, but moist soil.
