Are you looking to learn important life skills? Are you interested in learning about nutrition, food preparation and cooking, food safety, and physical activity? If so, then you will want to join the 4-H Mission Nutrition Club. Layne Langley, Area Nutrition & Community Health Agent and Project Leader for 4-H Mission Nutrition, will be using components of the Virginia Cooperative Extension Curriculum Teen Cuisine to teach the key concepts mentioned above.
All 4-H’ers grades 4th -12th are welcome to join regardless of their skill level. The club will meet from 5:30pm-7:00pm at the Extension Office on some third and fourth Tuesdays of each month. The first meeting will be September 24 and it will be a 4-H’er & parent/guardian project club meeting. There will not be a meeting in December. The deadline to register to join this club is September 13.
The club will be limited to 25 4-H’ers for the 2024 2025 school year.
