Louisiana Outdoor Science and Technology Camp is held annually at the Grant Walker 4-H Educational Center in Pollock, LA and is structured the same way as traditional summer camp. LOST camp is for 7th and 8th graders and features tracks in the fields of science, engineering, technology and outdoor education. Participants are able to choose three of these tracks to participate in while at camp.
Who can attend: 4-H members who are currently completing 7th or 8th grade.
Camp tracks: ATV, Animal Science, Brain, Energy, Genetics, Kitchen Chemistry, Music, Physics, Outdoor Skills, Weather, Videography (tentative). Campers will choose 3 of these available tracks and participate in all 3.
Cost: $150 (not including transportation). A limited number of scholarships for students on free/reduced lunch are available.
Registration: Turn in the attached form with a $50 deposit directly to the 4-H office no later than June 8. Checks or money orders only payable to West Feliciana 4-H. No cash please. Statewide registration will be first come, first served, so it might be advisable to sign up earlier.
