4th-12th grade 4-H members are invited to join the Terrebonne 4-H Shooting Sports program.
Terrebonne Parish 4-H offers Shooting Sports to 4th-12th grade 4-H members. Youth can participate in four disciplines: archery, hunting skills, rifle, and shotgun. This 4-H project requires parents to be present with their child at all shooting sports events and activities. Practices are held on the weekends.
Terrebonne 4-H will host an interest meeting to explain the shooting sports program to parents and youth. Registration information will be given on this date. Participants and parents will have the chance to meet coaches and volunteers, learn about our program, ask questions, and discover how to get involved in disciplines such as archery, rifle, shotgun, and hunting skills.
All new interested 4-H members should have a parent or guardian attend the Interest Meeting. This meeting will cover participation requirements, safety expectations, equipment information, enrollment procedures, and important dates for the season.
