The plant sale was held Saturday April 11th, 2026 at the Northeast Research Station from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
Program agenda features seed saving demonstrations performed by the Delta and Macon Ridge Master Gardeners, followed by tours of the demos and gardens.
The annual field day centers around long-lost LSU developed vegetable varieties as well as local heirlooms that have been acquired and secured in the program.
This program was organized as an effort to address top issues for local produce growers and farmers market vendors.
This event will feature hands‑on demonstrations showcasing practical conservation practices that improve soil health, reduce erosion, and enhance water quality.
The 2026 Red River Research Station’s 2nd Annual Soil Health and Cover Crop focused on maximizing cover crop benefits for improved soil and crop productivity.
LSU AgCenter’s Northeast Research Station staff of researchers and extension staff welcomed 5 visiting scholars from Brazil and Honduras in 2025-2026.
Single and multi-species crops are being grown to demonstrate the benefits of best management practices (BMPs) for soil health and water quality.
Youth are learning about poultry production and are anxiously awaiting hatch date on March 12, 2026.
