2010 St. Martin 4-H Fall Fest

The second annual St. Martin Parish 4-H Fall Fest was held at the 4-H Office in Breaux Bridge on Saturday, Oct. 30, 2010. Fall Fest, the first big contest day of the year, included a pet show, sugar cookery contest, rice cookery contest and a decorated pumpkin contest. 4-H members from clubs throughout the parish participated in this event, making it quite successful. There were 42 participants in the pet show, 28 participants in the cookery contests and 79 entries in the decorated pumpkin contest. The objective of the contest day was to allow 4-H’ers to express their creativity and improve their character development in the areas of responsibility, fairness and caring.
