Sweet potatoes are one of the best sources of beta carotene and sweet potato pie has long been a favorite holiday food.

The sale of sweet potatoes is an annual event benefitting the 4-H program in St. Helena Parish.

Orders for Louisiana sweet potatoes are being taken now at the LSU AgCenter office in Greensburg, La.

Sweet potatoes will be available at $25 for a 40-pound box

Orders are due to the LSU AgCenter office by noon on Wednesday, November 10, 2021. Pick Up will be November 15-19, 2021

Sweet Potatoes will arrive before Thanksgiving.

All proceeds will benefit the St. Helena 4-H program.
