4-H Volunteers Attend Leader Training

Volunteers from St. Helena Parish attended an area leader training in Gonzales, Louisiana, on Sept. 9, 2010. The theme of the training was Building a Championship 4-H Program.

The volunteers attended sessions such as: Fundraising is a Brees; A Playbook to Success/1st Year Volunteer; A Playbook of 4-H Opportunities; How to Be a Team Player; The Home Stretch; Road Runner Session;s and Scavenger Hunt. All participants were asked to represent their favorite team. St. Helena chose to represent Southern University, LSU and the Saints.

This was a great opportunity for the volunteers to experience.
