Red River Parish 4-H Cookery contest

On December 20, 2013 Red River Parish 4-H Cookery contest took place. Participating were 4-Her’s Claire Drabwell, Rylie Kate Woodard, Malena Russell, David James and Rozalyn Taylor. This contest was for recipes using Sweet Potatoes, Poultry and Pecans. Listed below are the results of the contest:

Sweet Potato (Dessert):

1^st Place – Rozalyn Taylor (Sweet Potato Pie)

2^nd Place – David James (Sweet Potato Snow Balls)

Sweet Potato (Other):

1^st Place – Malena Russell (Sweet Potato Bread)

Poultry (Chicken):

1^st Place – Claire Drabwell (Chicken Cranberry Wreath)

Pecan (Cookies):

1^st Place – Rylee Kate Woodard (Miniature Pecan Pie Cookies)
