Camps

Many Summer and Day-Camp opportunities are made available to Rapides Parish 4-H members. Those in grades 4-6 can apply to attend summer camp at Camp Grant Walker. Camp dates are usually available by January allowing parents to register early and make camp payments in installments. Members in grades 7-8 are eligible to attend Challenge Camp & Lost Camp. High School members in grades 8-12 may compete at 4-H University at LSU in Baton Rouge and attend the Jr. Leadership Conference to learn about state board leadership opportunities.
