Show is Thurs, Oct. 11. All contestants must be enrolled in 4-H and register ahead of time. Deadline is Fri., Oct. 5 at La. Tech Howard Auditorium.
September, 2017 will begin 4-H enrollment in Lincoln Parish schools. Fun activities and events are available for youth in grades 4-12.

Lincoln Parish 4-H Hunting & Outdoor Skills offers a program for hunting ethics, survival skills, marksmanship, and identifying prey while hunting.
Lincoln 4-H held its 4-H Achievement Day, with over 300 people attending. Awards, contests and recognitions were presented for the 2017-18 school year.

Tractor Supply in Ruston will host the 4-H Cookery Contest on December 2, 2017. Several categories to enter include beef, poultry, seafood, egg and wild game.
Winners from the parish 4-H talent contest advance to the State Fair contest. Prizes were awarded to winners at the 4-H pet show.
Lincoln Parish Talent Show will be Oct. 12, 2017 at Ruston High Auditorium. Deadline for registering is Oct. 9.
With the beginning of school, 4-H enrollment in the Lincoln Parish Schools will be available to students in 4th -12th grades.
There is something for everyone in 4-H. Meetings are held at Lincoln Parish schools and offer a wide variety of interests for all students.
Awards were presented to various individuals and school clubs as part of the annual Achievement Day recognition. Over 300 were in attendance for a fun day.
