4-H University 2026

June 23-26, 2026

Each year in June, 8th-12th grade members participate in 4-H University on the LSU Campus to demonstrate their skills in more than 30+ competitive events.

4-H University is also an opportunity for you to explore the LSU campus, experience dormitory life, eat like a college student, visit with college faculty members, and learn more about possible career choices.

For those who wish to attend 4-H U and not compete, there is always Clover College. This is your chance to fit into a college student’s shoes and explore potential career opportunities.You will attend hand-on workshops and seminars on and off LSU
campus.Then you will rejoin your parish for all the assemblies and other fun activities.

Cost to attend 4-H University is $185 (includes delegate fee, housing and transportation. Meals on your own, with exception of Thursday night meal being provided by LaSalle 4-H Foundation. Registration is due by May 13. State deadline for leadership board application packet is May 1st to State Office. Don’t delay, call the 4-H Office ASAP if you are interested in attending, as training will begin early.


4-H Summer Camp

LaSalle camp dates are July 13-16, 2026. Members in grades 4-6 are eligible to attend 4-H camp and make great memories that will last a lifetime.

Cost-$260 that covers transportation, lodging, and meals. Camp deposit of $75 is due by May 1. Final balances, Health Forms, Code of Conduct,
Medical Release, etc. are due June 18.
A parent or guardian must complete online camp registration after the camp deposit is received in the 4-H Office. Registration forms are available in the 4-H Office and at club meetings.
Parents: we will need overnight chaperones! High School 4-H’ers we also need Camp Counselors!

There are scholarships available; some that covers $250 of the camp fee. Any youth in need of financial assistance will need to contact the 4-H Office for paperwork details. Chancellor scholarships provide a $60 credit, which is not appliable to the camp deposit. Contact the 4-H Office at 318-992-2205 for more information or to obtain a registration form.


4-H LOST Camp

Are you looking for a way to experience summer camp at Camp Grant Walker but aren’t in grades 4th–6th?
L.O.S.T. (Louisiana Outdoor Science & Technology) Camp is for you! This specialty camp is open to 4‑H members in 7th and 8th grade during the 2025–2026 school year and will take place Thursday, July 30, 2026, through Sunday, August 2, 2026.

During L.O.S.T. Camp, campers will participate in two hands‑on educational tracks. Options include Sea Perch (underwater robotics), Drones, Video Production, Outdoor Skills, Healthy Living and more—offering youth an exciting opportunity to explore STEM topics, build leadership skills, and enjoy outdoor learning in a fun camp environment.
Cost to attend is $250 (lodging and meals). Campers will enjoy a 3 night stay at Camp Grant Walker in Pollock, LA from Thursday, July 30 to Sunday, August 2. Registration and a $75 deposit is due by May 7. Final Camp fees due by June 19. Registration will open soon. 10th - 12th grade camp counselor applications are due online before July 6, 2026.
