This five-part educational series on diabetes will help adults at risk for type 2 diabetes, who are pre-diabetic or who have diabetes to learn how to manage their condition through menu planning, portion control, label reading and physical activity. Family members and caregivers are invited to attend as well! Participants can sample healthful foods using the concepts taught in class and will receive information and tools to help successfully manage their condition.
The cost is $40.00 to attend and is first come, first serve. Checks or money orders can be made payable to the LSU AgCenter.
