- 4-H Agents' Message
Hello and welcome to Jefferson Parish 4-H! Our staff is dedicated to providing high quality educational programming to the youth of Jefferson Parish through school 4-H clubs, community-based 4-H clubs, and community outreach. We invite you to learn more about our parish program and get involved! There are many opportunities for youth in grades K – 12 including club meetings, camps, contests, and trips. Adult volunteers can also join in on the fun! We provide training and support throughout the year, and our state and regional chapter of the 4-H Volunteer Leader Association is very active. So, explore our website and contact us soon to begin learning and serving with your Head, Hands, Heart, and Health.
Dillon Howell
Assistant 4-H Extension Agent
Hello! I am one of the 4-H agents in Jefferson Parish. I studied at Tulane University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience in 2020. I began working for 4-H in 2021 and have worked with a variety of youth organizations for over 6 years. I was drawn to 4-H because of their emphasis on teaching necessary life skills to help youth become responsible and caring adults. One of my favorite things about being a 4-H Agent is that I get to contribute to my community by helping youth discover their sparks!
Sabrina Hoffmeister
Assistant 4-H Extension Agent
My name is Sabrina Hoffmeister. I am a 4-H agent in Jefferson Parish. I'm thrilled to work for the LSUAgCenter and join this community. Last year, I graduated from LSU with a Nutrition and Food Sciences degree. During my time at LSU, I interned with LSU Football and have a passion for teaching others. I am originally from Ft. Lauderdale, FL but now call Louisiana home. I'm a motivated and adaptable person who is passionate about leadership and making a positive impact on my community.
