4-H Agents' Message

Hello and welcome to Jefferson Parish 4-H! Our staff is dedicated to providing high quality educational programming to the youth of Jefferson Parish through school 4-H clubs, community-based 4-H clubs, and community outreach. We invite you to learn more about our parish program and get involved! There are many opportunities for youth in grades K – 12 including club meetings, camps, contests, and trips. Adult volunteers can also join in on the fun! We provide training and support throughout the year, and our state and regional chapter of the 4-H Volunteer Leader Association is very active. Sabrina Hoffmeister

Assistant 4-H Extension Agent

My name is Sabrina Hoffmeister. I am a 4-H agent in Jefferson Parish. I'm thrilled to work for the LSU AgCenter and join this community. Last year, I graduated from LSU with a Nutrition and Food Sciences degree. During my time at LSU, I interned with LSU Football and have a passion for teaching others. I am originally from Ft. Lauderdale, FL but now call Louisiana home. I'm a motivated and adaptable person who is passionate about leadership and making a positive impact on my community.

Amy Ardoin

Assistant 4-H Extension Agent

My name is Amy Ardoin, and I serve as a Jefferson Parish 4-H Agent with the LSU AgCenter. I graduated from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a degree in Elementary Education and spent 17 years as a classroom teacher before deciding to continue working with youth in a non-formal setting.

I began my 4-H career in Avoyelles Parish, where I served for three years before transferring to Jefferson Parish in July 2025. My passion for hands-on learning and positive development guides everything I do One of my favorite parts of 4-H is taking youth on camping experiences, where they build confidence, independence, and lifelong memories. I also enjoy mentoring Junior Leaders as they plan and carry out service projects that make a meaningful impact in their communities.
