Get excited, our annual Iberia Parish Fall Fun Day is right around the corner! This event includes our Bicycle Rodeo, Beef, Seafood and Rice Cookery Contests, Focus on Fitness Expo,Welcome to Wetlands and our first ever parish wide Service Project!

NOTE: No bus transportation will be provided
A 4-H’er may enter one dish in any of the categories listed in each contest. All dishes must be prepared at home and chilled to refrigerator temperature. We will reheat the dishes for judging. Dishes should be transported to the cookery in an ice chest. Even dishes that are normally not refrigerated must be entered this way. Dishes not chilled and brought in an ice chest will be disqualified. Bring a copy of the recipe along with the dish; please label on the back side of the recipe the child’s name, grade and school. Your dish will be given a number when you register. All divisions are open to any age.*Hint-Look for dishes that are different/unique, low in calories, fat and sodium.
Rice-The dish must contain at least (1) cup of cooked rice. Wild rice does not meet the requirements of 1 cup rice. Dishes containing rice products such as rice cereal, rice flour, etc. must contain cooked rice.
There will be (3) three categories:
Seafood-The dish must obtain at least 1 cup Louisiana seafood. No raw seafood allowed in finished dish!
There will be (5) categories:
Ground Beef-The dish must contain at least one (1) pound of ground beef.
There are three (3) categories:
A) 4-6 Grades
B) 7-12 Grades
No motorized bikes
Helmets must be worn!
