- Pumpkin Decorating Contest
Not a trick, it’s all a treat! On October 12, 2022 in conjunction with the Cotton Festival there will be a pumpkin decorating contest for our 4-H Club Members! You must pre-register for this contest!
This year we will have three divisions: 4th - 6th grade, 7th - 8th grade, and 9th - 12th grade. BE CREATIVE! you may decorate or carve the pumpkin. Bring a pumpkin fully decorated to the Civic Center in Ville Platte from 3:00 - 4:00 p.m. to be judged. Judging will begin promptly at 4:00 p.m. Pumpkins may be big or small in size, a foam pumpkin or real pumpkin, and can be decorated in any age-appropriate theme. Please no gore, it will be disqualified. Look online for some great ideas! You must take your pumpkin with you once contest is complete If your pumpkin is left unattended after the contest, it will be thrown. Deadline to register is October 10, 2022!
