Eighteen Catahoula Parish 4-H’ers, along with two Junior Counselors, recently participated in the Northeast Region Challenge Camp held at Camp Grant Walker in Polluck from March 29-31, 2012. The campers enjoyed team building activities such as boat building and challenges like the Snack Throwdown. Each night, the campers enjoyed dancing and socializing with the other 4-H’ers across the Northeast Region. Catahoula parish campers included: Hunter Book, Silton Book, Christian Carter, Dillon Crum, Seth Curry, Shamira Griffin, Jasmine Hilliard, Hailee Hodges, Leighton Hodges, Elijah McCormack, Colby Mount, James Rachel, Austin Reeves, Kailey Renfrow, Shelby Smart, Avery Smith, Hayden Taylor, and Sidney Tubre. Junior Counselors were Calvin Smith and Oran Tubre.
