Registration will be 9:30 a.m.
Pet Show begins at 10:00 a.m.

The Caldwell 4-H Pet Show gives 4-H'ers the chance to demonstrate their knowledge of animals and animal care and use their communication skills.

Rules and Regulations:
1. Give a short speech about you and your pet which includes the following:
  • Your name, age, grade and school.
  • Your pet's name and how you chose this name.
  • Where you got your pet and how long you have had it.
  • Care required for your pet (food, housing, health, etc.).
  • What your pet can do.
  • A funny or interesting story about your pet.

2. All animals MUST be in CAGES or ON A LEASH.

3. 4-H'ers can enter 1-3 categories, but cannot enter two animals in the same category.


  1. Dogs
  2. Small animals (turtles, birds, guinea pigs, lizards, cats, rabbits.)
  3. Large animals (sheep, goats, ponies, cows, giraffes, etc.)

First, second and third place winners will receive cash awards.

Community Service Activity
We will be collecting dog food, treats and supplies to donate to a local animal shelter. If you are interested in participating, please bring your donation (canned dog food (not dry), bleach, blue Dawn dish washing liquid, old blankets or towels, tarps, zip ties, Milk Bone dog treats, braided rope chew toys (no rawhide chews), tennis balls) to the Pet Show.
